In the middle of Oakland is Children's Fairyland. It has scenes from different FairyTales as well a train ride and merry-go-round and all that good stuff. Its been around for forever and I don't think its been updated since it was built in the 50's. It's a fun spot.
Here's Mia with my mom and sister Megan who is now at BYU!
Mia loved the train ride and waving goodbye to everyone waiting in line, "Bye Peoples!"
Mia's favorite scene was Snow White. I think she liked actually being taller than someone for once... she gave each one of the 7 dwarfs a hug.

Oh, my gosh! I think I've been to this place before, several times actually. My cousins lived in Sacramento and Folsom and we would visit them every summer and go here - I loved it!
So in 2 weeks we're moving to SL(dro) (out of my parents' and into a duplex) and we HAVE to get together. Asher and Mia would have so much fun. Then he'd talk about her for days with a dreamy sound in his voice (that's how he says girls' names)
