We took our canoe to some nearby lagoons yesterday afternoon. Mia loved using her "controller" (paddle) to help "stir" the water (paddle the boat). It was a blast.
John and Mia paddled to a spot where we could tie up the boat and enjoy some ice cream on the dock. I pushed Norah in the stroller on a path alongside them as they paddled.
Then Mia and I paddled back while John pushed Norah.
Norah snoozed the whole time.
This is the canoe on our new to us 1991 Nissan Pathfinder. (We were babysitting my dad's little red pickup truck while he's on a mission, but it got hit by a drunk driver in the middle of the night while it was parked in front of our house. So we had to find a replacement second car.)

Canoeing looks like a lot of fun! And "drunk driver" totally scared me--I'm so glad it was the middle of the night and none of you were in it!
What fun to own a canoe!! I bet Mia had a blast rowing around. And I'm also glad no one was in the truck when it got hit.
I'm so glad that the drunk guy hit a parked truck instead of an occupied one! Scary! Mia is adorable paddling her canoe around
